Current Obsession...

My new obsession..
I can't get enough of it. About a week after Thanksgiving my dad bought all 10 seasons of FRIENDS and since then I've watched 5 of them. 2,858 minutes of a TV show in 26 days. 47.6 hours out of 624. That is 13% of my time in the past month. Obsessed do you think? There is just something about this show! A couple summers ago, Carly and I watched seasons 7, 8, and 9 over and over. And now I'm just right back to it. FRIENDS is one of the greatest shows ever. It is so entertaining and hilarious. Each season and each episode only gets better. So anyway..this is my new obsession...until January 19 rolls around and LOST comes back out!

WINTERLOVE 09

This past Saturday I went to my first high school dance, Bountiful High's Christmas Dance, and had an awesome night! I asked my boyfriend Adam with a poster that said.."Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the dance would be delightful, if you've no place to go......Let us go let us go let us go!" and put fake snow and snowflakes all over his room with my full name Cadisen Ann Haycock written on some of the snowflakes. I felt bad making such a mess of room, but his little sisters had so much fun helping me "make Adam's room even messier than usual"! He answered me back one Sunday when the whole family was around by sending over Santa Clause with a present for me that just happened to be my favorite smell in the whole world-spray Pam with YES on it:)

To the dance I wore one of Cailey's old dance dresses that I love and yes her jewelry too ha ha. Not only did she lend me all of her stuff, but she did my hair as well. Those of you who know Cailey know that she is amazing at hair! Friday night she took me to the salon that she works at and cut and dyed my hair which looked so good! Then Saturday she curled it and did it so amazingly in a twist braid and side ponytail. Thanks sis!!

Saturday night we went to Macaroni Grill for dinner which was mm mm good and headed to the dance which was so much fun! After the dance we went to our friend McKayla's house and watched part of the edited version of the Haunting in Connecticut which was more jumpy and creepy than actually scary ha ha but what we saw was pretty good. All in all it was a wonderful night and I had a blast!

Parachute

During the summer, my friend Mechale introduced me to a fairly new band, Parachute. I've been looking them up on YouTube since then, listening to all their songs. But just last week she gave me their cd..and I can't get enough! I swear it's all I've listened to. I put the cd in on my way home from school THE very day that she gave it to me, and it hasn't come out-and probably won't come out anytime soon either. If you have not heard of them, or any of their songs, I obviously highly recommend them. I love every single one of their songs. Not only do they sound great, but they have incredible lyrics and the lead singer, Will Anderson, has an amazing voice. If you don't want to search through all their songs and listen to them, at least listen to my favorite two:

Blogger at Heart

Ta-da! I finally decided to officially join the blogging world! I have liked to consider myself a true blogger for quite a while now because I check blogs DAILY. I don't think I've gone a day without the fantastic blogspot.com for months now. This would be due to my wonderful sister Chiara whose blog I was introduced to first and which I always check first, and then proceed to follow down her list of family and friends' blogs and check up on most of them as well. My excuse for not taking this step long, long ago was that my life is rather boring and I'd have nothing to post..but what I love most about blogs is just being filled in on the little things in the lives of everyone around me, so I've said "what the heck-why not?" and plunged fully into the title of 'Blogger'..although I've always been a blogger at heart:)
