We're Goin' to the Zoo, Zoo, Zoo...

How about you, you, you? (By the way, that is the best little kid song ha ha. Listen to it.)

Anyway, last Saturday Adam and I decided that we wanted to go to the Hogle Zoo so we went! On the way out there it started POURING rain and when we got there that hadn't changed ha. Luckily, we had an umbrella, so instead of being miserable, it just made it more fun! Everyone was running out of the zoo as we got there, and the whole time we were there we ran into about 15 other people. It was a very memorable trip to the zoo :)

Since it was raining, it was somewhat difficult to hold the umbrella and take pictures at the same time, so there are not many pictures of the animals, sorry! But we did take some funny pictures in the car on the way home ha ha.
Enjoy!

My hand is the same difference in size as Adam's is to a gorilla's hand! Is that pathetic or what?!

Mawage

"Mawage, mawage is what bwings us togeta today."

Marriage is what brought all my family together this last Saturday:) My sister Carly just got married! Yay! Judd and Carly are so happy and so cute together! They are so mean, and hilarious and I seriously love having them live here at the house!

Saturday morning they went to the Salt Lake City temple and got sealed together forever.

After the wedding at the temple, we had their reception in our driveway. Sounds white trash, but it was so pretty!

Happy Birthday to...

Happy Birthday to....(if this was live, I would be giving a drum roll. Use your imagination-I'm sure you can hear it if you try hard enough:) )

Coco. You'll always be Coco or Code to me, not Cody. Sorry about it bro;) I miss you. I do. I miss you so bad. I wish you were here so I could celebrate this day WITH you. I have been putting off even thinking about posting this, because I knew this would happen-I'm crying already ha. Mostly when I think about you, I think of happy memories, which I love remembering:) We are all sad about you not being here with us, and we all miss you SO bad. There will always be a spot in my heart for you bro-don't you forget that! ha ha. But my favorite thing to do, and what I always try to do, is when I get sad thinking about you, I conjure up one (or many) of the awesome, funny, great memories I have of you and I find myself laughing and smiling because...you're just the best! ha ha. I love you Code and I like thinking about you to be a happy thing sometimes too and I'm sure you wouldn't mind:) But anyway...Happy 33rd you oldie!!

Carl. Sis..you are awesome. No doubt about it. Out of everyone in the family, I feel like you are the one most like me and that we get along really well. (aside from the wedding stress and your birth control...ha ha ha) I want to say thank you for being such a great sister to me. You may not realize it, simply because you are probably the funnest person in the world to tease, but I really love you and look up to you! I think you're great! Completely off subject, I can't believe that you are getting married next week!! That is too crazy. Back on task. Your obsession with sleeping with ALL doors 100% closed included, I have actually enjoyed sharing a room with you this summer. It's been pretty fun ha ha! I also really appreciate and have enjoyed the times that you and Judd, Cailey and Adam and I have hung out, and nights watching Secret Life in Judd's room:) You're the best Carl Jo. Happy 22nd!

Surprise!

So I think the past week has taught me the whole "don't judge a book by its cover" lesson ha ha.

Point #1 Despicable Me

Looks so lame, huh? Yeah, that's what I thought. When I first saw the previews I vowed I would not go. No way, no how. It just looked plain stupid-like that dog vs. cat movie where they team up or whatever? Ha. NO WAY. However, Adam had heard from tons of people that it was really funny and good. So...he decided that he was going and I was going with him, so I relented, thinking it would only be 2 hours wasted. Boy let me tell you that I was wrong. It was so cute! And really really funny ha ha! You definitely have to be in a cheesy, laugh at anything mood-but if you are, it's awesome!

Point #2 Glee

I don't think there's a person out there who has not heard of this show. I know I have. When I first noticed people sporting their "Glee" t shirts at school and heard people talking about some singing club first I was confused, and then I was just plain baffled. Once again, it sounds SOOOO lame! The first time I actually saw this show I was at Adam's house and watched it with his 3 sisters and mom. I had to try not to laugh out loud because it was so cheesy! I knew that it seemed even more cheesy to me because I didn't know any background info and that bugged me so I set off to see what this show is really all about. In 4 days I watched all 22 episodes. Granted, I still think that this is the weirdest and cheesiest show EVER, but it is so captivating. I just didn't want to stop watching it and I really liked it!

Thanks to being forced into trying new things, I found myself 2 new "likes" this week that I never ever would have guessed :)

IP, ID 10

Does it get any better than this?

I submit that it cannot.

The "Lazy J" cabin is definitely the place that all Jensen's are aching to be from June until August. How grateful I am to my long ago ancestors who built our cabins and started this amazing tradition!

Once again, like every summer, my family took our annual trip up to Island Park, Idaho. Unfortunately, instead of staying for 3 weeks, we could only stay for 1 :( But that's how life goes, right? The first half of the week was just the awesome and "Lazy J faithful" Swiss family and bits and pieces of the Haycock family. Mind though, that just because there were few there, it didn't take away from the fun! We canoed, hiked the fire tower, laid out, went on 4 wheeler rides, you name it.

The second half of the week our family friends, the Thomas & Fabrizio family, came to join! We wanted to cram all the fun that we could into the weekend to show them why we love our Idaho so much, and cram we did! We went to Bi Springs to see the fish, birds, and muskrat, we jumped off the Tressel(i don't think i'll ever really know how to spell that...), floated the river from talls, went into Yellowstone to shop, see Old Faithful, and swim at the Fire Hole! It was a busy few days! By Saturday we had quite the large group as everyone in my family arrived to be there for Madden's baptism on Sunday.

Madden's baptism was the sweetest thing. Like all of his Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins, Madden was also baptized right off our dock in the Snake River. His daddy, Bill, baptized him and Uncle Doo Doo and Uncle Judd were witnesses. His big brother Mason who got baptized only last November gave a talk that he wrote all by himself! Let's just say it made me tear up.. Mason and Madden have this amazing brotherly connection and are two of the sweetest boys around! His incredible and beautiful mom, my sister Chiara, also gave a touching talk that she directed to Madden. Madden was given the Holy Ghost by his Dad, with his Papa, Great-Grandpa Jake, Uncle Doo Doo, Uncle Judd and Matt Thomas. To top the whole thing off, Madden and his "friend AND cousin" Asher sang the "I Like To Look For Rainbows" song and oh was that the sweetest thing in the world! That may have gotten me teared up as well..ha ha.

All in all, this trip to the cabin was as amazing as every other, albeit shorter! And of course, there must be pictures, and a lot of them. Last year I took a lot of nature pictures, but this year I took more people pictures:) Enjoy.

...FEVER...

Just take a minute to look at these photos.

Please tell me how anyone could NOT want to be here. Island Park, Idaho...it's the most amazing place in the world. This destination is only days away from me but I am DYING to be there right this second.

Let's just say that I've got a serious case of cabin fever. Come soon please!

Fronce Father's Day Photoshoot

Chiara and my mom, being as sweet and creative as they are, asked me to do a photoshoot with Chiara's kids for Father's Day. They wanted me to take pictures of the kids with the lollipops that their Papa (my daddy) gave to them so they could be his Father's Day present. I love ANY excuse to take pictures of the Fronce kids-they're adorable!
