It started off with me just simply asking Adam-I know, I know. It's hard to believe, I mean we live in Utah with all the crazy asking/answering stuff! But I wanted a break and he was grateful he didn't have to be cute and clever and answer me. All he had to do was say "suuuure."

The next great thing about this dance was our group. What wonderful friends we have! Since it was a girls choice dance, the girls got together to plan it. It was the best. No one cared, everyone was totally just go-with-the-flow. We decided to dress up as the people from the Step Up movies (just a side note---if you have not seen Step Up 1, 2 or 3, rent them.) Some of the group went more for the gangster-dancer type, some were more ballerina-ish, totally just a mix. To tie everybody together we got black t shirts and stenciled "Step Up" on them with white paint. (that's a whole different and funny story..haha!)

My hair currently has purple highlights in it and the day before the dance they were fading like crazy so I ditched my last period and my sis re-did them for me. Not only that, but the day of the dance was her birthday and she STILL curled my hair for me! Cailey is the best sister ever:) Thanks sis and happy belated birthday! (hopefully I can find your present soon..ha!)

I'm a serious stress case and I always have been. I make things harder for myself than anyone could ever imagine! That's just the way I'm programmed..ha ha. Most dances I stress over it for weeks, on one occasion I even had a complete meltdown the morning of the dance, yeah I know-I'm crazy! This dance however, was pure bliss. I was not stressed out at ALL. The whole spray paint debacle, my shirt got ruined, my skirt started fraying like crazy--yet after all of that, I just simply didn't care! Hannah, Adam and I quickly found an even better idea than spray paint, Adam was a sweetheart and fixed my shirt even after I assured him a million times that it was unfixable and that I really didn't care, and my mom came up with a solution to the fraying skirt!
Stress...NO check:)
Since our group was so wonderful and we are all friends, we decided to go to Hannah's house for dinner. It was scrumptious! Thanks for dinner Nelson's! We ate, talked, laughed, and just hung out. After dinner we went to the school for the dance-it was so fun! I can't dance to save my life, but dances can be so fun ha ha. After the dance we went to Taylor's house and ate food, played ping-pong, and watched Step Up 3! It was such a fun night and the most low-key dance. I love it!
Thank you Cailey, Thank you Nelson's, Thank you group, Thank you Adam!
