Prom 2011

Oh what fun!:) Prom was so great. Adam and I went with our friends Cam and Cassidy and had such a great time. The boys picked us up in the morning and we went to Hollywood Connections. We acted like little kids and had a wonderful day! In the afternoon we headed home to get ready. Cailey was throwing her best friend a wedding shower at my house, so I had to get ready all by myself! Cailey has always done my hair for dances, but this time it was up to me. I really didn't care all that much, I was just looking forward to having fun, so it wasn't a big deal! But if you think my hair looks bad in the pictures, it wasn't Cailey-it was me ha ha.

My mom took me over to Adam's house since he and Cam were busy preparing. We took about a hundred pictures...

and then the great night finally began!

The boys had been busy all day long preparing an amazing dinner for us! They actually cooked it themselves! (Don't worry, Adam's mom supervised!;) ha) After pictures they took us down to the basement and this is what we saw...

It was so cute! They lined the stairs leading down with lit white candles which they had also set up ALL over the place-on every surface. They had strung lights around the room and had a fancy dinner table all ready for us. Great guys? I think so!! Not only that, but Adam's darling sisters were our "waitresses"! They brought us salad, pasta, breaded chicken, cookies and ice cream, sparkling cider, mints, the whole deal! I think Cassidy and I were treated to the best dinner of anyone who attended the prom:)Thank you Adam and Cam for a wonderful dinner and date!

We ate dinner, watched the boys burn bits of their food with the candles to "see what will happen", threw up mints and tried to catch them in our mouths, and had a wonderful evening. Then we were on our way to the dance. This year Prom was held at the brand new Menlove Toyota building on Highway 89. No one expected it to be cool, considering Prom was supposed to be held somewhere else (I can't remember where...) and then they canceled on us about a week beforehand and Menlove Toyota was pretty much the only option. But it was really awesome! It was big, and open and modern, and the DJ played the music INSANELY loud. I'm pretty sure no one could hear for 2 days afterward ha ha. The dance was really fun, everyone there looked beautiful and had a wonderful time.

After the dance we played it low-key again:) We went to Adam's house and jumped on their trampoline and watched part of a movie. It was really great.

Prom was amazing. The end:)
