Prom 2011: The Asking

Yet another belated post!

On April 4th (Spring Break), I woke up early to go with my mom down to the fabric store. After the fabric store I pulled into my parking spot in the driveway and got out of the Jeep to see this:

right in front of my face. Couldn't miss it. Nice placement:) ha ha.
Clue #1:

Instantly I knew it was Adam-yay!:) So I headed to the Wii-the Cabela's game more specifically.

Clever, huh?! We quite enjoy the competition of who can kill the most animals. Kinda brutal I know. But we've gotten really good!
Clue #2:

To the piano!
The hiding spot.

Clue #3:

I knew right where to go:) The falling apart sort-of couch frame thing that we have outside.

Clue #4:

So this guy was funny. Adam claims it "ruined the whole thing", but I say that it just made it even better! When I came in the door from the fabric store, already on my treasure hunt, Otis of course would not leave me alone so I frustratedly went to get him a treat so that I could finish the hunt! But to my surprise, when I opened his bone bowl I saw that there was a clue! I didn't read it and I didn't cheat ha ha I promise. I left it right where it was and proceeded on my mission! But when I got to this point, I went back to his bowl and continued!

Clue #5:

Again, he ran into a little trouble when the pot that we had found the rattlesnake under was no longer there. But he improvised and hid it under a shovel that was nearby.

Clue #6:

Down to the basement...in front of the door that overlooks the temple, I found this on the floor:

I took it upstairs and opened the box and this is what I found.

Seriously? Could I have a cuter, sweeter, more amazing boyfriend?! He totally made my entire day, week, month, whatever ha ha. I could not stop smiling! He is wonderful. Such a clever way to ask, such great clues and hiding spots, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my ring. Love it. (Not to mention that I was sooo excited to go to Prom with him ha ha...!)

Thanks to my amazing man for the best Prom asking ever!:)

This is without a doubt,
the most dorky, Corky, pukey post I've ever seen about!
I can't imagine anyone doing this,
and receiving any love, let alone a simple kiss.
I used to think that Adam was a pretty nifty boy,
But now I can't help but believe, it simply was a ploy, to get my little Caddy Ann to think he is a man!
Oh how he failed.
